Mr. Popper lives with his wife and two children. One day, he writes a letter to an explorer in the South Pole and receives a penguin as a present from the explorer. Captain Cook, the penguin, is getting lonely so the aquarium keeper gives Mr. Popper Greta, another lonely penguin. Greta and Cook have 10 little babies. The Poppers train the penguins to do shows and become rich. When Mr. Popper and his penguins go to jail because the penguins interrupted the seal show, the explorer comes and helps them to get out of jail. The explorer takes Mr. Popper and the penguins to the North Pole.
Mr. Popper's Penguins Book Cover Page
I liked this book because the funny penguins do a lot of mischief and the penguins are so talented. I would like a pet penguin and name it Tinker Bell beause its black coat will sparkle and shine like Tinker Bell's wings.
